Genpact Inviting applications for Sr. Associate, Record to report role

Work location: Kolkata(Work from office)

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to General Accounting domain.

• Review teams day to day activities, including but not limited to Account Reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis, and other requests
• Month End Close Activities
• Fixed Assets Capitalization and Maintenance
• Intercompany Accounting
• Bank and Investment Reconciliations
• General Ledger Reconciliations
• Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL)
• Identifying balancing items and its clearance
• Escheat Reconciliations
• Corporate Reporting
• Internal and External Audit
• SOX Compliance
• Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Finance/Accounting.
• Experience in technology consulting professional services or staffing preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• IT skills: ERP (PeopleSoft/Workday) MS Office Preferably Workday ERP
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot VLOOKUP Graphs)

• Demonstrates the ability to ask questions and gather information to create requested reports.
• Demonstrates the ability to analyze information identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrates the ability to function as a facilitator; independently resolving problems working with and through others to recommend test and implement process improvements.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage your own time activities and resources to ensure department standards are met on a consistent basis.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify and understand customer needs take appropriate actions to ensure customer needs are met.
