About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Wealth Management Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the technical development of data quality, observability, and transformation services that are integral to our wealth management platform. Your expertise will drive the design, implementation, and support of scalable Single Page Applications (SPAs), RESTful APIs, and common frameworks that support multiple applications within our ecosystem. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives. Your leadership will also involve advocating best practices in software development, testing, and deployment to enhance the stability and performance of our systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of comprehensive full-stack software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in building responsive, accessible single-page applications with Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), including unit, integration, and automation testing practices.
• Solid application performance evaluation and tuning skills.
• Experience with responsive web design and accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with active participation in sprint planning and reviews.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as GitHub and GitActions.
• Proficiency with relational databases including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application deployment in platforms like PCF, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues impacting production environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of data quality, observability, and transformation services that are reusable across multiple applications.
• Design, develop, test, and support RESTful APIs, SPAs, and associated frameworks aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to enhance application responsiveness and stability.
• Proactively monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and improve code quality by writing comprehensive unit, integration, and automation tests.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions where applicable.
• Support the deployment and operational management of cloud-native applications across various cloud platforms.
