Sr. Backend Software Engineer, Integrations Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Backend Software Engineer Integrations Platform to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, impactful projects with various stakeholders
• Define technical direction for critical areas to accommodate growth
• Design and develop new functionalities and infrastructure using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with a skilled team to enhance customer security offerings
• Help shape the company’s engineering culture as the team expands

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Proficient in designing, building, and scaling backend systems and APIs
• Experience in technical leadership roles for complex projects
• Past startup experience or similar fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with greenfield projects
• Interest in or experience with security practices
• Open to integrating AI into work processes effectively
