Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Sr. Bartender to manage bar operations, prepare quality beverages, supervise bar staff, and ensure excellent guest service. The candidate should have strong knowledge of beverage preparation, bar inventory, hygiene, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bar operations and ensure smooth service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, beverages, and other drinks as per standard recipes.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Supervise and guide bartenders and bar service staff.
• Train new team members on beverage preparation, service standards, and bar procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of beverages, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Monitor bar inventory, stock consumption, wastage, and breakage.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of bar ingredients and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared and served according to company standards.
• Handle guest requests and resolve service-related concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, service, and restaurant management teams.
• Operate POS systems and ensure accurate billing where required.
• Maintain proper records of daily sales, stock usage, wastage, and breakage.
• Assist management in menu development and introduction of new beverages.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable responsible-service requirements.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience as a Bartender / Sr. Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, bar, lounge, café, or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages.
• Excellent beverage presentation and service skills.
• Good knowledge of bar inventory and cost control.
• Strong communication and guest-handling skills.
• Team-handling and training abilities.
• Good knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
• Flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualification

12th Pass / Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
