Sr BIM Engineer - Structures

Job Summary

We are seeking BIM Engineers with structural experience and strong Autodesk Revit skills to support a major UK-based rail infrastructure programme, producing accurate structural as-built models, drawings and schedules. You will work closely with UK-based structural engineers and BIM leads, with support from a dedicated coordination team, and occasional visits to the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate structural as-built models in Autodesk Revit using design data, survey information, and construction records.

• Model reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, and related structural elements while producing detailed 2D drawings, sections, schedules, and general arrangement drawings.

• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in project information by working closely with engineers, perform model and drawing quality checks, and ensure proper management of model files, drawing registers, and revision records to maintain accuracy and traceability.

  Requirements

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, BIM, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience as a BIM Engineer, BIM Technician, or Structural Revit Technician

• Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, including structural modelling and drawing production.

• Ability to interpret structural drawings, engineering mark-ups, and technical documentation.

• Excellent attention to detail and effective communication with engineers and BIM teams

• Desirable experience in UK rail projects, model coordination, clash detection, and common data environments (CDE).

• Interest in Dynamo, Revit API, automation, and AI-driven solutions to improve project delivery.
