What they need

Careers that change lives start here. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a Mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our 95,000 employees work across more than 150 countries to put patients first — developing innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of 72+ million patients each year. Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.

A Day in the Life

The Customer Care function supports the end-to-end customer and order journey, connecting customers, commercial teams and operational partners to deliver reliable service and efficient order execution. This Warsaw-based role follows a flexible work arrangement with two days per week in the office and focuses on strengthening process performance, digital capabilities and scalable order management solutions.

We are seeking an analytical, digitally minded and solution-oriented professional who combines end-to-end process thinking with hands-on experience in process improvement, automation and order management solutions. The role will use data to identify root causes, challenge existing ways of working and determine whether processes should be simplified, redesigned or automated. By partnering with Customer Care, commercial, operational and technical stakeholders, the successful candidate will deliver practical, scalable improvements that reduce non-value-added work, address the drivers of the current Relational Team backlog and release capacity for customer relationships and other value-added activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze end-to-end Customer Care and order management processes, using data to identify root causes, bottlenecks, cross-functional dependencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify manual, repetitive and non-value-added activities that can be eliminated, simplified, redesigned or automated.
  • Translate customer, commercial and operational needs into clear business requirements for digital, automation and order management solutions.
  • Assess improvement and automation opportunities based on business impact, effort, risk, scalability and potential capacity release.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, test, implement and drive adoption of practical solutions that address the underlying business need.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of digital ordering, order management and process automation solutions that simplify the customer and order journey.
  • Monitor implemented solutions against defined measures, quantify operational impact and identify opportunities for further optimization.
  • Drive initiatives from analysis and concept through execution, supporting sustainable capacity release so the Relational Team can focus on customers, relationship building and value-added activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience in Customer Care, order management, business process improvement or a related operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing end-to-end processes, identifying root causes and translating findings into implementable improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience in reducing operational backlogs following organizational restructuring or operating model changes.
  • Very strong analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for data analysis, reporting and decision support.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to structure, prioritize and deliver cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Practical experience with process improvement, automation, order management or business solutions, including identifying non-value-added activities and defining clear business requirements.
  • Experience in capacity modelling, workload analysis and resource planning to support sustainable operational performance.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams and support solutions from analysis through testing, implementation and measurable impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience assessing automation opportunities and applying technology to simplify processes and eliminate non-value-added work.
  • Digital tools knowledge would be an asset.
  • Prince 2 certification.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate cross-functional dependencies in a complex operating environment.
  • Customer-centric and implementation-focused approach, balancing service outcomes, operational efficiency and scalable solution design.
