Sr. Chemical/Process Engineer

We have developed a best-in-class MOF-based solid adsorbent,state-of-the-art structured adsorbent contactors, and a revolutionary rapidswing adsorption process powered by waste heat or renewable electricity.Our vertically integrated technologyplatform has the potential to transform the carbon capture and removal industryby significantly reducing the cost of CO₂ removal, mitigating climate change,and advancing a more sustainable future.As we accelerate thecommercialization of our technology, we are seeking a SeniorChemical/Process Engineer to join our growing team. This is a highlyhands-on role for an engineer who enjoys designing experiments, operatingequipment, analyzing data, and taking technologies from the laboratory towardcommercial-scale deployment.

Responsibilities

• Operating, maintaining, and repairing proprietary laboratory equipment
• Collaborating and communicating with partners to ensure smooth execution of projects
• Perform small scale manufacturing tasks for pilot scale tests
• Analyzing, interpreting, and presenting experimental results
• Design, build, and execute laboratory and bench-scale experiments for carbon capture and removal.
• Visiting industrial sites to monitor equipment manufacture, installation, and operation

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field with at least 3 years of industry experience, or a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and hardware skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience working in a hands-on research or manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on mechanical and hardware skills.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time
• Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship
• At least two references

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial gas separation, adsorption processes, or flue gas systems.
• Experience in process simulations with software such as ASPEN
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Experience with P&IDs and process flow diagrams
• Experience with point of source or direct air carbon capture systems
