Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or relevant qualification

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, finished products and in-process samples.
• Perform routine QC testing as per approved specifications and SOPs.
• Handle laboratory instruments and maintain proper testing records.
• Conduct testing related to fertilizer/bio-fertilizer products and raw materials.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory standards, SOPs and GLP requirements.
• Ensure accurate sampling, testing, documentation and reporting.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Production, QA and other departments regarding quality issues.
• Maintain calibration and proper functioning of laboratory instruments.
• Prepare and maintain COA, test reports, laboratory registers and other QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety procedures.
• Support development/improvement of testing methods and laboratory practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of chemical analysis and QC testing.
• Good knowledge of laboratory instruments.
• Knowledge of raw material and finished-product testing.
• Understanding of SOP, GLP, OOS and CAPA.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with Production and QA teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
