Sr Civil Executive Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Executive Engineer with proven expertise in high-rise residential tower construction to lead execution, quality assurance, and material reconciliation for our premium development projects. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed at least one high-rise residential tower from foundation to handover and demonstrated mastery of complex structural execution in vertical construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Lead on-site civil engineering activities for high-rise residential tower construction, ensuring all structural works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

• Coordinate closely with structural consultants, contractors, and internal teams to maintain construction momentum while adhering to design intent.

• Oversee critical construction stages including foundation works, core wall construction, slab pours, fa ade integration, and structural completion.

• Implement effective construction methodologies and sequencing strategies optimized for high-rise vertical construction.

  Quality Management

• Establish and maintain rigorous quality control protocols across all civil engineering activities, conducting regular inspections at critical hold points and ensuring compliance with international building codes and local regulatory requirements.

• Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality control documentation.

• Identify non-conformances early, implement corrective actions, and maintain comprehensive quality records.

• Ensure concrete strength testing, rebar inspection, formwork verification, and structural tolerance checks meet specified standards throughout tower construction.

  Material Reconciliation

• Manage comprehensive reconciliation of client-issued materials including cement, steel reinforcement, aggregates, admixtures, and other civil construction materials.

• Track material consumption against approved BOQs, identify variances, and provide detailed analysis of material utilization efficiency.

• Coordinate with procurement, site stores, and accounts teams to maintain accurate material accounting.

• Prepare monthly material reconciliation reports highlighting consumption patterns, wastage analysis, and recommendations for optimization.

• Ensure proper documentation of material receipts, consumption records, and site storage management.

  Coordination and Reporting

• Serve as the primary technical interface between the project team, main contractor, subcontractors, and consulting engineers for all civil engineering matters.

• Conduct regular progress meetings, prepare detailed weekly and monthly progress reports, and communicate technical issues requiring resolution.

• Coordinate civil works with MEP installations, architectural finishes, and external fa ade contractors to ensure seamless integration.

• Escalate critical technical or schedule issues with proposed solutions to senior management.

  Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in high-rise construction with at least 5 years in senior execution roles.

• Mandatory requirement: successful completion of at least one high-rise residential tower (minimum 40 floors) from foundation to handover as a key member of the engineering team.

• Professional engineering license or chartered engineer status preferred.

  Technical Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of concrete technology, reinforcement detailing, and structural tolerances for high-rise construction.

• Familiarity with construction management software, CAD tools, and project planning applications.

• Understanding of surveying principles and ability to verify construction accuracy using modern surveying equipment.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for high-rise construction sites.

• Ability to conduct structural inspections and assessments during various construction phases.
