Sr. Cloud Support Engineer - ELK

Summary: Responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to support enterprise logging, monitoring, and analytics platforms. The role involves managing Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash data pipelines, Kibana dashboards, security controls, performance tuning, and operational support to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of the environment. This role requires to work work in rotational shift, excluding Night Shift.

Education: Any Graduate, preferrably Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 4 years Experience, preferably hands-on experience in ELK Stack administration and production support.

Knowledge:

1. Understanding of ELK Stack architecture and data flow.
2. Knowledge of Elasticsearch cluster management in enterprise environments.
3. Knowledge of log ingestion, monitoring, and observability solutions using ELK components.
4. Understanding of performance tuning, availability management, and troubleshooting of ELK platforms.
5. Knowledge of platform upgrades, backup, recovery, and operational support processes.
6. Understanding of Elasticsearch indexing, shard allocation, replication, and cluster health management.
7. Knowledge of security controls, access management, encryption, and high-availability concepts.

9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards.

10. Create and maintain Logstash pipelines, filters, and data processing workflows.

11. Develop and manage Kibana visualizations, dashboards, reports, and alerts.

12. Implement and manage index templates, ingest pipelines, ILM and SLM policies.

13. Perform cluster maintenance activities including upgrades, backup, restoration, and replication.

14. Configure and maintain security controls, user access management, and encryption mechanisms.

15. Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

16. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams for platform support and issue resolution.

17. Will have to work in rotational shifts, excluding night shift.
