Job Summary:
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex business data, generating actionable insights, and supporting management in data-driven decision-making. The role involves developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, monitoring KPIs, and providing recommendations to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for management.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, operational metrics, sales, financial, and business performance.
• Translate business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and different departments.
• Conduct forecasting, trend analysis, and performance analysis.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes and business results.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, Operations, HR, and other departments on data requirements.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data extraction processes.
• Assist in building automated reporting and analytics solutions.
• Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts.
• Ensure proper documentation of reports, dashboards, data sources, and analytical processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of data modeling, reporting automation, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts is an advantage.
