Sr. Data Analyst, Finance (REMOTE)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Analyst Finance (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on financial metrics including inventory and COGS
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to assist management decision-making
• Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and variance analyses
• Engage in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for performance insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards to enhance visibility into financial performance
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy in physical inventory and COGS reporting
• Improve financial processes and data accuracy through workflow design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting, preferably related to inventory or COGS
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with emphasis on inventory and COGS accounting
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools
• Proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI
