Sr. Data Analyst | 12 Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join a large-scale customer remediation and data investigation program. This role is ideal for professionals with strong SQL and Teradata expertise who enjoy analysing complex datasets, uncovering historical data insights, and supporting critical business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, issues, and customer impacts.
• Investigate historical customer and transactional data to support remediation activities.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries within a Teradata environment.
• Validate data quality and ensure accuracy of analysis and reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Document findings and communicate outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Teradata (essential).
• Proven experience working as a Data Analyst on large-scale, data-intensive projects.
• Previous experience supporting remediation programs or working within a remediation team.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience interpreting complex historical datasets to identify trends and root causes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
• Exposure to risk, compliance, regulatory, customer remediation, or data quality initiatives.
• Experience working with large customer, product, or transaction datasets.
