Sr. Data Scientist, Business Analytics

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist, Business Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will focus on translating complex business data into clear insights that shape strategy, planning, and decision-making. You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen forecasting, reporting, and the organization’s data culture. The position offers the opportunity to influence high-visibility initiatives and support scalable analytics in a fast-moving technology environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $167,500 – $216,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and track key metrics that measure company success
• Lead analysis and reporting on business performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Conduct in-depth analyses to guide future strategic decisions
• Enhance revenue forecasting models and the overall planning process
• Develop and maintain essential dashboards and self-service tools
• Collaborate across teams to convert insights into actionable decisions
• Cultivate a strong data culture through collaboration and training

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in tech or a marketplace business
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for analyzing large data sets
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a solid statistics foundation
• Experience collaborating with executives to address business needs
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience utilizing AI for workflow automation and analytics
• Familiarity with revenue modeling and forecasting in high-growth environments
