The Role

• Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models used to support business and risk-related decision making.
• Partner with stakeholders across analytics, technology, and commercial teams to develop scalable modelling solutions.
• Monitor production models, assess performance, and implement enhancements where required.
• Develop robust and reproducible data science workflows using engineering best practices.
• Support the design and optimisation of model training pipelines and deployment processes.
• Evaluate new data sources, methodologies, and modelling techniques to improve predictive performance.
• Communicate analytical insights and modelling outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across machine learning and MLOps practices.

Your Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Physics, or a related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of commercial experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Strong Python experience with libraries such as NumPy, Polars/Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience building end-to-end machine learning solutions from development through deployment.
• Strong understanding of model monitoring, validation, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Experience writing maintainable, well-tested, and reproducible code.
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern data science tooling.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
