Sr. Data Scientist – Financial Analytics & AI

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support the modernization of a large-scale financial projection platform. The role combines data science, machine learning, Generative AI, data engineering, and visualization, with a focus on building scalable analytics solutions using Python and the Azure data ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning models and Generative AI applications
• Perform data analysis and statistical modeling to generate actionable insights
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Work with stakeholders to understand data and analytics requirements
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and quality checks
• Produce technical documentation, insights, and recommendations
• Collaborate with data analysts, analytics engineers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science or related roles
• Hands-on experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and Generative AI
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills
• Experience working in Agile teams and with cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English
