Detailed Job Description:
- Install, configure, and maintain DB2 (UDB) and PostgreSQL databases
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations
- Design and execute backup and recovery strategies
- Manage cloud resources on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Ensure database security, compliance, and data integrity
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in database administration
- Strong knowledge of DB2 (UDB) and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud platforms GCP and AWS
- Proficiency in performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
