You are: Lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise DevOps platforms, with AKS and On-Premises Kubernetes as the primary deployment platforms. The role will also support EKS, Rancher-managed Kubernetes, Vanilla Kubernetes, and Air-Gapped (No Internet Zone) environments, focusing on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, application deployment, security, observability, and engineering productivity.

The Opportunity:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise CI/CD platforms using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and JFrog Artifactory.

• Own application and platform deployments across AKS, On-Premises Kubernetes, Rancher-managed Kubernetes, Vanilla Kubernetes, and EKS environments.

• Design and standardise deployment architectures for Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, On-Premises, and Air-Gapped (No Internet Zone) environments. Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform.

• Design and standardise CI/CD pipelines for Python services, FastAPI/Flask APIs, microservices, and React applications.

• Define containerisation, deployment, release, rollback, configuration, and environment management standards using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.

• Support deployment, monitoring, operationalisation, and lifecycle management of ML models and AI services deployed on Kubernetes platforms.

• Lead software packaging, artefact management, dependency management, and deployment processes for secure On-Premises and Air-Gapped environments.

• Establish monitoring, logging, observability, security, backup, disaster recovery, and operational governance standards.

• Implement platform security practices covering RBAC, secrets management, container security, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.

• Lead application onboarding, release management, production deployments, operational support, and incident management. Partner with development, infrastructure, security, and platform teams to enable secure and scalable software delivery. Optimise platform scalability, availability, performance, resource utilisation, and infrastructure costs. Mentor DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership across projects and initiatives. Drive platform roadmaps, technology evaluation, capacity planning, documentation, and operational best practices.

What are we looking for:

• Design and standardise CI/CD pipelines for Python services, FastAPI/Flask APIs, microservices, and React applications.

• Define containerisation, deployment, release, rollback, configuration, and environment management standards using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.

• Support deployment, monitoring, operationalisation, and lifecycle management of ML models and AI services deployed on Kubernetes platforms.

• Support HPC cluster architecture, deployment, and operational practices for AI/ML, scientific computing, and distributed workloads.

• Deploy and manage Slurm-based HPC clusters, workload scheduling, resource allocation, and cluster operations.

• Support GPU-enabled infrastructure and GPU workload deployments.

• Work with high-performance storage solutions and distributed compute environments.

• Support Databricks and MLflow environments. Support ML model serving platforms and inference services.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to LLM, RAG, and AI Agent deployment patterns.

• Support Rancher-based multi-cluster Kubernetes management.

• Implement SRE practices including service reliability monitoring, incident reviews, and operational excellence initiatives.

• Support service mesh, distributed tracing, and advanced Kubernetes networking capabilities.

• Contribute to internal developer platforms and self-service deployment capabilities.
