We are seeking a hands-on Senior DevSecOps Engineer who wants to take their skills to the next level. You’ll join experienced engineers tackling challenging infrastructure and software-delivery problems, with the ownership and collaboration to make a visible impact.

The Opportunity

Architect, automate, secure, and sustain sophisticated engineering environments across connected and disconnected networks, private and hybrid clouds, and enterprise infrastructure. Partner with software developers, test engineers, security teams, and platform specialists to build repeatable, reliable delivery systems supporting important defense programs.

What You’ll Do

·      Build, operate, and improve secure CI/CD pipelines for application development, third-party integration, automated testing, and deployment.

·      Implement infrastructure as code, configuration management, scripting, repeatable provisioning, and deployment automation.

·      Administer enterprise Kubernetes and container platforms, including deployment, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.

·      Support VMware vSphere and ESXi environments, virtual-machine provisioning, and infrastructure operations; use VMware Aria Operations or comparable tooling where applicable.

·      Engineer secure, consistent delivery across Linux, on-premises, private-cloud, hybrid-cloud, AWS-connected, and disconnected environments.

·      Integrate security controls, policy enforcement, automated checks, and operational monitoring across the software delivery lifecycle.

·      Analyze platform issues, perform root-cause troubleshooting, improve reliability and performance, and document procedures and runbooks.

·      Track and communicate deployment reliability, system health, security, and automation effectiveness metrics.

·      Collaborate across engineering teams, mentor colleagues, maintain diagrams and technical documentation, and help improve shared practices.

Required Qualifications

·      U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.

·      Ability to work full-time onsite in Orlando, Florida.

·      Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

·      Strong Linux systems engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and scripting experience.

·      Hands-on DevSecOps/DevOps automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation supporting multiple engineering teams.

·      Practical Kubernetes administration, container orchestration, platform security, and workload lifecycle management experience.

·      Enterprise VMware vSphere and ESXi virtualization experience.

·      Experience with private-cloud or hybrid-cloud deployment, operations, monitoring, and automation.

·      Knowledge of infrastructure as code, configuration management, secure engineering practices, and enterprise integrations.

·      Familiarity with AWS and secure operation of on-premises and cloud-connected workloads.

·      Strong problem-solving, prioritization, technical communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

·      7+ years of progressively responsible DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud, systems, or platform engineering experience.

·      VMware Aria Operations or similar virtual infrastructure automation tools.

·      Experience with secure isolated/disconnected environments and defense or federal programs.

·      Monitoring, observability, infrastructure provisioning, automated test and security toolchains.

·      Certifications (or active pursuit) in Kubernetes, VMware, AWS, DevOps, cloud, security, or automation.

·      Experience mentoring engineers and improving engineering delivery practices.
