Sr. Director Actuarial Forecasting - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director Actuarial Forecasting to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will guide a high-impact actuarial forecasting function that supports pricing strategy and risk management in a complex healthcare environment. The role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership to shape assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen decision-making. It will also drive quality control, team performance, and operational discipline across actuarial work. In addition, this position will manage budget accountability while translating complex analytical concepts for a variety of audiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $164,000 – $279,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead a team providing strategic pricing advice through actuarial modeling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing and risk management
• Engage with leadership to maintain forecasting assumptions
• Develop processes to ensure quality control of actuarial work
• Lead negotiations and simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
• Manage department budget and performance standards
• Handle additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 10 years of actuarial work experience, including 5 years in healthcare or PBM
• 7 years of leadership experience
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
