At XiFin, we believe a healthier, more efficient healthcare system starts with strong financial and operational foundations. Our innovative technologies help diagnostic providers, laboratories, and healthcare systems manage complexity, drive better outcomes, and stay focused on what matters most: patient care.

We’re on a mission to simplify the business side of healthcare—and we know that mission takes people from all backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of expertise, we welcome your perspective, your curiosity, and your passion. We value individuals who ask questions, challenge the status quo, and want to grow while making a real difference.

About the Role

XiFin is seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Centralized RCM Operations to lead the performance and execution of centralized revenue cycle services supporting multiple customers. Reporting to the VP, Head of Centralized RCM Operations, this leader will oversee Directors responsible for front-end operations, back-end operations, and payment posting, ensuring consistent service delivery, quality, productivity, financial performance, and compliance across the portfolio.

The Sr. Director will translate enterprise priorities into clear operating plans, strengthen standardized processes and controls, and create accountability across customer teams. This role partners with Customer Success, Analytics, Implementation, Product, Technology, and other leaders to resolve complex issues, improve performance, and advance automation and continuous improvement across centralized RCM operations.

How you will make an impact:

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead centralized RCM operations across multiple customers, with accountability for front-end, back-end, and payment posting performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Directors responsible for each operational function, establishing clear priorities, decision rights, performance expectations, and accountability.
  • Translate the VP’s strategic direction into operating plans, service standards, resource priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish consistent operating practices, controls, metrics, and governance across customers while appropriately addressing customer-specific needs.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, service levels, cash and financial outcomes, and other key performance indicators to identify risks and drive corrective action.
  • Lead operational reviews and communicate performance, risks, root causes, decisions, and recovery plans to senior leaders and customer-facing teams.
  • Direct resolution of complex operational escalations and coordinate cross-functional support when issues span teams, customers, systems, or workflows.
  • Advance process improvement, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow enhancements that increase efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and customer value.
  • Partner with workforce and operational leaders on capacity planning, staffing models, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable healthcare regulations, payer requirements, internal controls, company policies, and customer commitments.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement across centralized operations.

What you will bring to the role:

We’re looking for a senior operational leader who can lead through Directors, create consistency across multiple customers, and convert strategy into disciplined execution. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Lead through others by setting direction, developing leaders, and creating accountability at every level.
  • Balance enterprise standardization with sound judgment about customer-specific operational needs.
  • Use performance data to identify root causes, prioritize action, and make clear decisions.
  • Communicate complex operational issues clearly to executives, customer-facing leaders, and frontline teams.
  • Navigate competing priorities and escalations with composure, urgency, and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and maintain momentum from decision through execution.
  • Challenge legacy processes and champion practical improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.

Skills and experience you have:

You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, shared services, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience leading Directors or senior operational leaders across multiple teams, functions, or customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated success leading front-end, back-end, payment posting, or other high-volume revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, including patient access, billing, claims, denials, collections, payment posting, and operational controls.
  • Experience using KPIs, scorecards, service levels, quality metrics, and financial measures to drive performance and accountability.
  • Proven success implementing standardized processes, operational excellence initiatives, and technology-enabled change.
  • Experience managing escalations and leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with workforce planning, organizational change, talent development, and performance management.
  • Offshore or global delivery partnership experience preferred.
