Sr Director Data Science - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director Data Science - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This leader will guide enterprise data science and data product efforts that support strategic decision-making and business execution across the organization. The role will partner closely with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to turn priorities into scalable product and platform outcomes. A strong emphasis will be placed on roadmap ownership, cross-functional leadership, and aligning data initiatives with broader business and compliance needs.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $159,300 – $273,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Business Analysts and Product Managers to develop the data mart
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into technical product features
• Manage product vision, definitions, and multi-year roadmaps while overseeing backlog management
• Direct teams in technology and data product build plans, prioritization, and execution
• Oversee initial product testing and automated SOX controls before User Acceptance Testing
• Align financial systems strategy with business objectives through executive collaboration

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or financial systems
• 10+ years of experience in finance transformation or building and owning financial systems
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels
