Sr. Director, Full- Stack Engineer, Shopping Tech (Remote - Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Full- Stack Engineer, Shopping Tech (Remote - Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This leader will shape the technical direction for a portfolio of product-focused software teams and guide the architecture behind customer-facing digital experiences. The role will partner closely with product and business leaders to align roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities that support long-term growth. It also carries responsibility for strengthening engineering practices, developing talent, and driving consistent execution across multiple teams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $286,200 – $326,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple teams of product-focused software engineers
• Shape long-term technical strategy and architecture standards
• Align product roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities in partnership with leaders
• Drive talent strategy, ensuring skill development and equitable opportunity
• Mentor engineers on professional and technical development
• Develop market-driven application capabilities and customer experiences with product managers
• Continuously improve software engineering practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of people management experience
• 9+ years in software engineering and solution architecture
• 9+ years in enterprise architecture and design patterns
• 9+ years in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• 9+ years in data architecture
