Sr. Dot .NET Engineer

As a Dot Net Developer, you will be part of the Digital Products Development Centre which is our in-house center for developing products in personal finance and investment space (#WealthTech). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining web applications using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of the wealth management industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale web applications using. NET framework, C#, ASP. NET, and other related technologies.
• Implement the enhancements in the products which includes UI development & enhancements in existing modules of the product, as per the current design/architecture.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate them with third-party services and APIs to provide seamless functionality.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of the system.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in the core team meetings and provide inputs on product enhancements/defects / any outstanding technical issues, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in. NET framework, C#, ASP. NET, MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Financial industry experience or familiarity with wealth management concepts is a plus.
