Sr. Draftsman

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Develop and update working drawings, tender drawings, and good-for-construction (GFC) sets.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Modify and revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant inputs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and authority requirements.
• Prepare detailed joinery, furniture, and interior execution drawings where required.
• Assist in preparing submission drawings for statutory approvals and client presentations.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify execution and resolve drawing-related issues.
• Support in quantity take-offs and basic BOQ preparation when needed.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural drafting within a consultancy or design firm, with exposure to residential and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, detailing, and project documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of Revit preferred.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, basic 3D visualization tools, Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), and BIM workflows is an added advantage.
