Sr. Electrical Technician

JJob Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Technician to join our Facilities Management (FM) team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across FM facilities. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of electrical systems and be able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Maintain electrical panels, DBs, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and related equipment.
• Perform electrical installation, repair, testing, and inspection works.
• Respond to maintenance requests and breakdown calls promptly.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and according to FM procedures.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and completed work.
• Coordinate with other maintenance technicians and FM team members.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Perform any other electrical maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in Facilities Management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Good knowledge of LV electrical systems and building services.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
