Power / Electrical Engineering Intern – Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Power / Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in power systems and facility-related electrical engineering within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines

• Basic knowledge of electrical power systems, substations, or industrial electrical facilities is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage

• Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with power system analysis, documentation, and data collection

• Support daily activities related to electrical facilities, substations, or utility systems

• Participate in engineering reviews, site inspections, and improvement projects

• Help prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations

• Demonstrates strong interest in long-term career development at Micron

• Aspires to grow into a full-time electrical or power engineer after graduation

• Ability to leverage AI to enhance personal productivity and independently identify AI use cases.

• Work Location: Must be willing to work in the Tongluo (Miaoli) or Houli (Taichung) areas to support future plant construction needs, and potentially provide support at other Micron sites.
