Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Sr. Engineer – Automation & Controls to handle project execution, automation system design, estimation, and commissioning for food, pharma, and powder handling equipment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Experience in Automation & Project-based companies

Exposure to Sheet Metal Industries / Process Equipment (Food, Pharma, Powder Handling)

Expertise in costing & estimation of:

MCC (Single Front / Double Front / Non-compartmental Panels)

APFC, VFD, PCC Panels

Automation Panels (PLC, HMI, SCADA)

Hands-on experience with:

Siemens PLC (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500)

Allen Bradley PLC

Develop and maintain tools & procedures for SCADA engineering and testing

Strong understanding of technical documentation

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical

Supervise panel integration and provide site-level technical guidance

Conduct site visits as required

Experience in:

System Engineering

FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)

Commissioning of PLC/HMI systems

Preparation of:

BOM (Bill of Materials)

BOQ (Bill of Quantity)

Panel and design documentation

Ensure design compliance with ISO & CE standards

Develop HMI screens, alarm systems, history & asset management

Prepare and coordinate cost estimates & proposals

Monitor project progress and ensure execution as per schedule

Coordinate with internal departments for project reviews

Business Development Responsibilities:

Develop growth strategies (financial + customer satisfaction)

Identify new markets and customer needs

Arrange meetings with prospective clients

Preferred Experience:

Material handling systems such as:

Conveying systems

Packing systems

Screw conveyors

Agitators

Rotating equipment

Strong exposure to Food & Pharma industries

Qualification:

B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / E&TC

Experience:

Minimum 5+ Years
