Sr. Engineer (Civil)

1. Planning and execution

• Prepare and monitor weekly and monthly work plans aligned with the master schedule
• Plan manpower, equipment (tower crane, hoist, formwork, concrete pump) and sequencing of activities across floors and trades
• Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards
• KPIs: schedule adherence %, milestone achievement vs. plan, slab cycle time, delay recovery within the planned period

2. Quality assurance and control

• Review and approve pre-pour checklists, reinforcement, shuttering and MEP clearances
• Ensure testing of concrete, steel, blockwork and waterproofing as per the quality plan
• Close NCRs and implement corrective and preventive actions
• KPIs: NCR closure within timeline, cube test pass rate, rework %, first-time-right inspections %

3. Safety, health and environment

• Implement the site safety plan, including work at height, scaffolding, lifting and excavation safety
• Review work permits, conduct safety audits and investigate incidents
• Supervise junior engineers and supervisors on safety compliance
• KPIs: zero lost-time incidents, safety audit score, observations closed on time

4. Contractor and vendor coordination

• Monitor contractor performance on manpower, progress, quality and safety
• Coordinate with MEP, façade, lift and finishing contractors on sequencing and interfaces
• Support evaluation of contractors’ technical submissions
• KPIs: contractor on-time performance, manpower deployed vs. committed, interface issues closed on time

5. Measurement, billing and cost control

• Conduct joint measurements and verify contractors’ RA bills against BOQ and work orders
• Control extra items and deviations, and track material reconciliation (cement, steel, shuttering)
• Monitor wastage and cost against budget
• KPIs: bill verification turnaround (e.g. 3-5 days), quantity variance %, wastage % vs. norms, cost variance %

6. Material and resource management

• Review material requirements in advance and coordinate with procurement and stores
• Check material quality, storage, stacking and consumption
• KPIs: zero work stoppage due to material shortage, indent lead time adherence, stock variance

7. Drawing, technical and statutory coordination

• Review drawings for clashes and constructability, raise RFIs and ensure latest drawings at site
• Coordinate with design consultants, PMC and the planning team on changes and approvals
• Support statutory inspections (fire, lift, pollution control, structural stability, etc.)
• KPIs: RFIs closed on time, zero execution against superseded drawings, inspections cleared on time

8. Reporting and documentation

• Submit DPR, weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead plans and photographs
• Maintain inspection records, test reports and as-built documentation
• KPIs: reports submitted on time, documentation completeness in audits

9. Team leadership and development

• Guide, assign tasks to and review the work of junior engineers and supervisors
• Mentor on drawings, quantity take-off, quality checks and reporting
• KPIs: team target achievement, training hours, junior engineer appraisal ratings

10. Handover and snagging

• Plan and supervise snag identification, rectification and punch-list closure
• Support handover documentation, O&M manuals and defect liability follow-up
• KPIs: snag closure rate, handover on schedule, post-handover complaints

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
