Sr. Engineer Procurement (Raw Materials -Plates)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw material procurement in line with company standards.
• Source materials at competitive prices while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and implement corrective actions when required.
• Conduct market analysis to track price trends, availability, and mitigate supply risks.
• Ensure continuity of supply through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
• Work closely with internal teams (Production, QA, Planning) for seamless procurement operations.
• Identify and source suppliers from Indian Railways Vendor Directory where approved vendor conditions apply.
