Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator – Furniture Fit-Out & Joinery to join our team in Sharjah.

The candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs for customized furniture, joinery, fit-out, and related works, including loose furniture, MEP, civil, gypsum, and associated project requirements.

The role involves analysing drawings and BOQs, assessing materials and quantities, evaluating production and installation requirements, obtaining market prices, and preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates to support project planning, budgeting, and commercial decision-making.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

· Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for customized furniture, joinery, fit-out, MEP, civil, gypsum, and related works.

· Analyse project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work.

· Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material assessments, and BOQs.

· Review and interpret 2D technical drawings and detailed construction/joinery drawings.

· Estimate materials, labour, production, installation, and other project-related costs.

· Source and evaluate current market prices and supplier quotations.

· Conduct site visits to understand project requirements, site conditions, measurements, and installation requirements.

· Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate estimations.

· Identify discrepancies, exclusions, and potential cost variations in project documents.

· Ensure estimation is completed with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

· Prepare and maintain detailed estimation sheets and supporting documentation.

· 4+ years of UAE experience in estimation is mandatory.

· Experience in furniture, joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out is highly relevant.

· UAE Driving License is mandatory.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to analyse technical drawings.

· Engineering background is an advantage.

· Knowledge of MS Project or other relevant estimation/project management software is an advantage.

Language Requirements

• English: Professional proficiency in written and verbal communication – mandatory.
• Arabic: An advantage
• Hindi: An advantage.
