Sr. Executive - Budgeting & Reporting

Position: Sr. Executive - Budgeting & Reporting

Location: Head Office, Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises across all business functions.
• Coordinate with departments to gather budget inputs, assumptions, and financial projections.
• Monitor budget utilization and perform variance analysis against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Participate in monthly financial closing activities and ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for business and finance leadership.
• Analyze food cost, labor cost, delivery channel performance, discounts, POS fees, and other operational expenses.
• Perform cost allocations and maintain allocation schedules across departments and business units.
• Prepare department-wise financial performance reports and conduct trend analysis.
• Support the consolidation of financial and operational data from multiple stores, departments, and business units.
• Conduct expense analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Monitor store performance and prepare comparative analyses against budgets and historical results.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements and management presentations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to address reporting requirements and business queries.
• Assist management in business planning, decision support, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BBA/MBA/CIMA/ACCA/ICMA or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in budgeting, reporting, or financial analysis preferably in the food & beverage, retail, or FMCG sector.
• Strong grip on Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Hands on experience with SAP is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
