Sr. Executive _ Quality

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and supervise incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Inspect incoming materials against packing lists, invoices, MRN, specifications, and approved quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections of fabricated and manufactured components and maintain proper inspection records.
• Perform in-process inspections at different stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct final inspection and routine testing of finished products before dispatch.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, visual quality, workmanship, and product specifications during inspection.
• Review and verify packing bills, dispatch details, marking, packaging, and material identification.
• Sign and verify MRNs with appropriate feedback regarding marking, packing, unloading, and material condition.
• Maintain and update quality inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and other QC documentation.
• Maintain ISO-related Quality Control documentation and support implementation of quality systems.
• Monitor recurring quality issues and recommend appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment are calibrated within the required validity period.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, Design, and Marketing teams for quality-related issues.
• Assist in and coordinate internal and external quality audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies, customers, and client representatives for product inspections and approvals.
• Identify quality deviations, prepare observations/reports, and coordinate with concerned departments for corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaints, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Inspect returned/rejected (RL) materials or products, identify reasons for rejection, and maintain proper records.
• Ensure compliance with approved quality standards, specifications, drawings, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, customer complaints, and quality-related losses.
• Prepare periodic quality reports and present quality performance, rejection trends, and major issues to management.
• Guide junior quality team members and ensure proper execution of inspection activities.
• For senior positions, take responsibility for overall Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities, team management, process improvement, audit readiness, and customer quality coordination
