Sr. Executive - Safety

Employment Information : The position is with Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited, a subsidiary of Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys Private Limited. While Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys Private Limited is the parent/group company, all recruitment, employment, payroll, and related HR processes for this role will be managed by Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited.

Job Objective

We are looking for a dedicated Officer – Safety to oversee shift-wise safety practices across our manufacturing locations and ensure compliance with established safety policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures among employees and contractors.
• Conduct regular safety audits and identify unsafe conditions and near-miss incidents.
• Monitor compliance with work permit systems, including work at height, confined spaces, and high-voltage electrical work.
• Conduct safety training, fire safety awareness sessions, and toolbox talks.
• Prepare incident reports and investigation reports within the prescribed timelines.
• Monitor closure of safety audit observations and corrective action points.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, ISO/IMS standards, and 3S practices.
• Escalate safety violations and deviations to the concerned department heads and EHS management.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: As per organizational requirements.
• Certification: Safety Officer and/or Fire Officer certification.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Junior Safety Officer in the steel industry.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a sound understanding of factory safety rules and procedures.
