Responsibilities

Development Implementation

• Develop high-quality, maintainable code using Next.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript

• Build and maintain features across the full stack - frontend and backend

• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for MongoDB and PostgreSQL

• Write clean, testable code following best practices and coding standards

• Debug and resolve technical issues in development and production environments

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Optimize application performance and database queries

  Technical Collaboration

• Collaborate with Tech Lead on technical design and implementation approaches

• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute technical ideas

• Work with Technical PM to break down user stories and provide estimates

• Implement security best practices and handle sensitive healthcare data securely

• Write and maintain technical documentation

• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

• Collaborate with US engineering team during overlapping hours

  Quality Best Practices

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests

• Follow established coding standards and design patterns

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline improvements

• Contribute to technical debt reduction

• Stay updated with latest technologies and best practices

• Share knowledge with team members through code reviews and pair programming

  Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on full stack development experience

• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency - ES6+, async patterns

• Production experience with Node.js/Nest.js - building RESTful APIs, microservices

• Solid Next.js/React skills - SSR, components, hooks, state management

• Database experience - MongoDB and PostgreSQL (queries, schema design, optimization)

• Git proficiency - branching, merging, pull requests

• API design and integration - RESTful principles, authentication (JWT, OAuth)

• Cloud platform exposure - AWS/Azure/GCP basics

• Testing - Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks

• Vercel platform experience - deployments, preview environments, serverless functions

• Docker and CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus

• Healthcare or regulated industry experience is a plus

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

• Good English communication skills

• Comfortable collaborating with US team during their business hours
