Sr. General Accountant

Job Description: Responsible for day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank and supplier/customer reconciliations, VAT accounting, invoicing, payment follow-up, expense monitoring, month-end closing, financial reporting, audit support, and maintaining proper accounting records and supporting documents.

• Work Location: Business Bay, Dubai, UAE
• Employment Duration: 5 Years+, subject to performance and renewal
• Working Hours: 9 hours per day, including break
• Shift Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Working Days per Week: 5 Days
• Weekly Off(s): 2 Days
• Salary: MIn 6000
• Additional Benefits: Visa, medical insurance, annual leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law/company policy
• Experience Required: Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with UAE experience
• Preferred Industry Experience: Preferably from Trading of Minerals, Chemicals, Building Materials, or similar trading businesses
• Driving License: Not mandatory
• Other Specific Requirements: Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, supplier/customer SOA reconciliation, month-end closing and financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills are required. Candidate should have experience with accounting software and be able to independently manage day-to-day accounts. Good English communication and documentation skills are required.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CMA/CA Inter would be an advantage.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
