Sr Hadoop Developer

Job Summary Position Summary:

• Work on building and maintaining large-scale data platforms in the financial domain
• Contribute to data engineering, platform stability, and deployment automation
• Partner with cross-functional teams (business, risk, compliance, architecture) to deliver data solutions
• Work on Big Data platforms using:
• Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, YARN)
• Streaming technologies (Kafka preferred)
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and technical implementations
• Troubleshoot and optimize data processing jobs, batch and streaming pipelines
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across systems
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Support automated deployments and release processes
• Work with infrastructure as code tools
• Monitor systems using tools like Splunk
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency

• Experience with Big Data Technologies

• Demonstrated leadership and client relationship skills
• Strong professional work ethic, flexible, reliable, can work individually or within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and responsible for delivery on time.
• Experience in data engineering and distributed systems
