Sr. Infrastructure Analyst – Computing

Role Summary We are seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Analyst – Computing to support and improve enterprise IT infrastructure across global locations. 1The role covers Windows Server, virtualization and Nutanix AHV, storage, operating systems, infrastructure services, automation, monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting.

Role Description

• Analyze and recommend infrastructure solutions, upgrades, and services to streamline processes and improve systems.
• Perform hardware and software maintenance, including troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across compute, virtualization, storage, operating systems, networks, and infrastructure services.
• Provide infrastructure support to multiple locations worldwide.
• Deliver infrastructure implementations, upgrades, and technical projects, including testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational handover.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and provide advanced infrastructure support as required.
• Assist and coach other analysts on troubleshooting and fulfillment processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools for provisioning, patching, monitoring, validation, and remediation.
• Integrate infrastructure and operational data into Power BI for leadership and technical visibility.
• Improve monitoring signal-to-noise ratio through alert tuning, thresholds, and automation.

Support technical readiness and transition of new or upgraded platforms into operations

Skill Requirements PRIMARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE SKILLS):

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure and core enterprise services, including Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, and network fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization and HCI platforms such as Nutanix AHV, including lifecycle management, troubleshooting, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Working knowledge of enterprise storage technologies, including SAN/NAS, file services, capacity management, and storage performance.
• Operating system lifecycle management using tools such as WSUS or Tanium.
• Knowledge of security hardening based on established industry standards.
• Exposure to Linux operating systems.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze infrastructure data and metrics to drive platform improvements.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals.

Secondary Skills (good To Have)

• Administration and support experience with public cloud IaaS platforms; Microsoft Azure is a strong plus.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, LAN/Core Networking, server hardening, antivirus, SSO, MFA, or related security systems.
• Data protection (backup/restore) and/or disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control of scripts, configuration files, documentation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for infrastructure troubleshooting, automation, scripting, log analysis, and technical documentation.
• Experience with REST APIs for integrating, querying, or automating infrastructure platforms and services.
• Familiarity with JSON and webhooks and their use in infrastructure automation and system integrations

Working Pattern and Coverage

• Hybrid working pattern, with a combination of office and remote work.
• Workdays are Sunday to Thursday.
• Standard shift is approximately 7:00 PM–4:00 AM ET (4:30 AM–1:30 PM India time).
• Thursday hours are adjusted to allow participation in the team call.
• Sunday shift must overlap with existing coverage ending at 8:30 AM ET.
• Must be able to work on shifts if required.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, preferred.
• Relevant infrastructure certifications such as Microsoft, Nutanix, VMware, Cisco, or equivalent are preferred.
