Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements and conceptualize designs accordingly
• Be the point of contact with key clients and resolve escalations by collaborating effectively with stakeholders
• Inspire, coach, develop and mentor team members in the design studio
• Coordinate with project managers at site through team to ensure execution is as per standards and desired design

Skills

• Outstanding graphic presentation skills and the ability to communicate design ideas effectively
• Strong Auto cad and knowledge of Adobe Suites, Revit, Sketch-Up and/or 3-D Studio Max
• Flexibility to focus on a large client account with a variety of project types -or- multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Knowledge of life safety codes and requirements

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Architecture / Interior Design or related field
• 7+ years of related experience as an interior designer with a strong background in workspace design and corporate interiors
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of the design process, workplace strategy, design documentation, implementation and FFE
• Knowledge of life safety codes and requirements.
• Quality and excellence in design, management and technical ability
• Client facing ability with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Energy, drive and total commitment to our people and projects
• Knowledge of the client s business and ability to build and sustain client relationships
• Ability to develop talent, motivate staff, champion great work and act as a role model
