Sr. iOS Developer

About the role

We're looking for a Senior iOS Developer to build and maintain our Social Commerce SDK, with a primary focus on video playback/streaming and SDK development. The role requires someone who can work independently within an existing codebase, taking ownership of implementation, debugging, testing, and integration with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain iOS SDK features using Swift and UIKit
• Develop and fix issues in video playback and streaming functionality on iOS
• Design and maintain reusable SDK components and integration interfaces
• Maintain public APIs, protocols, delegates, and backward compatibility
• Integrate SDK features with backend services and host applications
• Debug issues related to playback, networking, performance, memory, and app lifecycle
• Write unit tests and support regression testing

About you

• 5+ years of iOS development experience
• Strong Swift and UIKit skills
• Good understanding of iOS app lifecycle, memory management, concurrency, and networking
• Experience with architecture patterns like MVVM or Clean Architecture
• Experience with async/reactive programming, Combine preferred
• Experience integrating APIs and external services
• Able to debug complex issues on your own
• Experience with unit testing, Git, and code review
