Sr. Java Developer

The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on development experience, and the ability to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise-grade applications.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain frontend/web application components using JavaScript.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Work extensively with relational databases (RDBMS) for application development and data management.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data access components.
• Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and production issues.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other development teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support application deployments and production releases.
• Follow enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and application performance.

Required Technical SkillsMandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java / Java/J2EE.
• Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Good hands-on experience with JavaScript.
• Strong experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, joins, indexing, queries, and database performance optimization.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs / Web Services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Experience with Git or similar source-control tools.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
