Sr Lead AI Engineer - II_Cyber Security

As an Offshore Cybersecurity Architect , you will define and govern security architecture and controls across Cloud, data, AI, integration, network, and application platforms. You will partner with architecture, engineering, risk, and business stakeholders to embed secure-by-design principles, assess cyber risks, guide remediation, and ensure solutions aligned with enterprise security policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities: -

• Define end-to-end cybersecurity architecture, security principles, patterns, and controls across Cloud, data, AI, integration, network, and application platforms.
• Perform threat modeling, architecture security reviews, and cyber risk assessments for new and existing solutions.
• Design and govern Zero Trust and identity security controls, including authentication, authorization, privileged access, and least-privilege principles.
• Define network security controls, segmentation, secure connectivity, and Cloud-native security guardrails.
• Design data protection controls covering classification, encryption, key and secrets management, and protection of data in transit and at rest.
• Define logging, monitoring, SIEM, security telemetry, detection, and audit requirements across platforms.
• Establish vulnerability management, secure configuration, remediation, and security hardening requirements.
• Embed secure SDLC and DevSecOps controls across application, API, container, and Cloud-native solution lifecycles.
• Review solution designs, architecture decisions, security exceptions, and compensating controls, and document risks and recommendations.
• Guide engineering and delivery teams on remediation of security findings and closure of identified risks.
• Support compliance and audit activities by defining and reviewing security evidence aligned with enterprise policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide cybersecurity advisory to architects, engineering teams, product stakeholders, risk teams, and senior stakeholders, balance security with business and delivery needs.

Educational Qualifications: -

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant cybersecurity or Cloud security certifications are desirable, such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure security certifications, or equivalent.

Skills: -

Mandatory Technical Skills: -

• Relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, solution security, or enterprise security architecture; years of experience to be aligned with the hiring level.
• Strong Azure and Cloud security architecture experience, including identity, network, data, platform, and workload security controls
• Strong knowledge of security architecture governance, architecture review processes, security exception management, and risk-based decision-making
• Hands-on knowledge of threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, IAM, privileged access, network security, data protection, encryption, key/secrets management, logging/SIEM, and vulnerability management
• Strong knowledge of secure SDLC/DevSecOps, API security, container/Kubernetes security, and Cloud-native security
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and control standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and Cloud security best practices
• Ability to translate enterprise policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements into practical technical controls and architecture guidance
• Strong stakeholder advisory, communication, documentation, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Good to Have Skills: -

• Experience in securing data, analytics, AI/ML, and integration platforms
• Exposure to Microsoft security capabilities such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Key Vault
• Experience in highly regulated environments, healthcare, or life sciences is advantageous
• Cybersecurity architecture or Cloud security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
