Sr. level Data Engineer Azure Fabric, ADF, Informatica MDM, SQL, DAX, Python 100% Remote 12+ Month Contract

We're seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines using Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Microsoft Fabric, with a focus on pipelines that feed and consume mastered data from Informatica MDM.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric

* Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing and transformation

* Build and maintain integrations between Informatica MDM and downstream systems, preserving golden records, cross-references, and match/merge outcomes

* Validate data quality and reconcile mastered data across systems

* Collaborate with data analysts, data stewards, and stakeholders to understand requirements

* Troubleshoot data integration issues and optimize pipeline performance

* Document processes and maintain technical specifications

Required Skills

* Strong proficiency in Python

* Strong SQL expertise (query writing, optimization, database design)

* Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

* Experience with Microsoft Fabric

* Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (MDM Hub / Multidomain MDM)

* Understanding of MDM concepts: match/merge, survivorship, golden records, data stewardship

* Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline architecture

* Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice-to-Have but Not required

* Experience with Informatica Data Director (IDD) or Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)

* Healthcare master data experience (patient, provider, location, or EMPI)

* Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other modern data stack tools

* Experience with version control (Git)

* Knowledge of cloud data warehouse concepts
