Job Description- Sr Manager/ AGM- Procurement (Head Office/ Regional Office)

Location: Vidyavihar West, Mumbai/ Pune
Company Preferred: Construction Contracting/ EPC

Role & responsibilities

• Sourcing the most competitive priced materials & sub-contractor and reviewing tenders and bids- support to tender department to get minimum price to get projects.
• Projecting stock levels & monitoring delivery times to ensure availability as per requirement.
• Controlling the purchasing budget & managing commodity cost initiatives.
• Developing sourcing strategies & Helping to source alternative items.
• Preparing high quality tender documentation related to procurement.
• Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.
• Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers.
• Keeping all supplier programs current and accurate.
• Delegating projects and tasks to junior staff.
• To develop new vendors based on capability, quality and reliability. Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers.
• Involved in selling off excess, damaged and inventory and stock.
• Overseeing staff training.
• Interacting with all officials for a smooth procurement. (Site, R.O and H.O officials).
• Monthly savings report to higher management with respect to PSE/DC.
• Resolving all procurement related issues.
