Sr. Manager / AGM-Quality | Apparel

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive overall Quality Strategy, SOPs, Standards & KPIs.
• Lead quality across vendors and production units.
• Manage vendor audits, scorecards, performance & quality improvement.
• Oversee fabric, trims, fit, wash, shrinkage and bulk approvals.
• Lead AQL, inline, midline & final inspections.
• Ensure quality, buyer, marketplace & regulatory compliance.
• Drive RCA, CAPA, defect reduction & continuous improvement.
• Analyse returns, rejections, rework and Cost of Poor Quality.
• Build and lead Quality Managers, AMs & inspection teams.
• Partner with Sourcing, Design, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail & CX.

Requirements

• 15-20 years in Apparel/Garment Quality with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Strong experience in Apparel Manufacturing, QA, AQL, Audits & Compliance.
• Experience managing multiple vendors/production units.
• Strong knowledge of Denims, Formals & Knits.
• Hands-on expertise in RCA, CAPA & quality improvement.
• Retail/Export apparel experience preferred; D2C exposure is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder & vendor management skills.
• Exposure to QMS, PLM/ERP & quality dashboards preferred.
