Sr. Manager, Content & Demand Generation
Location: Cambridge, MA | Hybrid
Compensation: $125K-$150K Base + Equity
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company using computer vision to transform quality control and automation within manufacturing.
The company is looking for its first dedicated Content & Demand Generation hire to build and own content across the buyer journey while creating programs that turn that content into qualified meetings and pipeline.
This is a highly hands-on individual contributor opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, building, experimenting, and working directly with Sales, Engineering, customers, and executive leadership.
You won't be stepping into a large marketing organization with an established playbook. You'll have significant ownership over what gets built, how content reaches the market, and how marketing contributes to revenue.
What You'll Do
- Own the content strategy across the full buyer journey, from initial awareness through evaluation and close
- Personally create high-impact content including technical guides, customer case studies, ROI stories, comparison guides, sales collateral, thought leadership, and product messaging
- Build and execute demand generation campaigns designed to generate qualified meetings and pipeline
- Develop email nurture campaigns, newsletters, landing pages, forms, and campaign offers
- Plan and execute webinars featuring customers, executives, engineers, and other industry experts
- Partner closely with Sales to understand buyer questions, objections, and content gaps throughout the sales process
- Interview customers and technical subject matter experts to turn complex information into compelling, easy-to-understand content
- Repurpose long-form content into email campaigns, social posts, short-form content, videos, and sales enablement assets
- Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn presence while supporting executive thought leadership
- Partner with external paid media and SEO resources on campaigns, content distribution, and search strategy
- Own content and messaging for industry trade shows, including booth messaging, handouts, demo narratives, and vertical-specific materials
- Track content and campaign performance, including meetings generated, lead engagement, pipeline contribution, and content utilization
- Continuously test, measure, and improve programs based on performance
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience across content marketing, demand generation, growth marketing, or related disciplines
- Strong hands-on writing experience with technical or complex B2B products
- Proven ability to create content that supports lead generation, meetings, pipeline, and revenue growth
- Experience developing customer stories, case studies, thought leadership, technical content, webinars, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials
- Hands-on experience with demand generation, email nurture, landing pages, campaign execution, and marketing automation
- Strong understanding of how content supports different stages of a B2B buying journey
- Experience partnering closely with Sales and technical teams such as Product and Engineering
- Comfortable interviewing customers and subject matter experts and translating technical concepts into compelling marketing content
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, or similar
- Analytical mindset with experience measuring campaign performance and marketing's impact on pipeline
- Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
- Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA and travel periodically to customer sites and industry events
Highly Preferred
- Experience marketing to manufacturing or industrial customers
- Background in industrial automation, robotics, machine vision, computer vision, manufacturing technology, industrial software, or related technical markets
- Experience working in a startup or smaller high-growth technology company
- Experience marketing products with complex or technical sales cycles
- Experience supporting trade shows and industry events
- Familiarity with SEO/AEO and working with external agencies or content partners
Why Join
- Join a venture-backed AI company tackling real-world manufacturing problems
- Become the company's first dedicated Content & Demand Generation marketer
- Build the function rather than inherit someone else's playbook
- Work directly with executive leadership, Sales, Engineering, and customers
- Own content and demand programs from strategy through execution
- See a direct connection between your work, qualified meetings, pipeline, and company growth
- Significant visibility, autonomy, and opportunity to make an impact
- Competitive base salary of $125K-$150K plus equity
