Sr. Manager / Manager - Assurance

The Sr. Man ager / Manager – Assurance is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing assurance activities across key business processes and functions. This role involves planning and executing risk and compliance based reviews, assessing internal controls, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies. The position includes collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify control gaps, recommend remediation, and monitor implementation of agreed action plans. The role also requires preparing clear assurance reports and dashboards, supporting internal and external audits, and contributing to continuous improvement in governance, risk management, and compliance practices.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in assurance, internal audit, and review methodologies, with a solid understanding of life insurance or financial services operations.
• Proficiency in internal controls evaluation, and compliance monitoring, including familiarity with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
• Skill in analyzing data, preparing structured reports, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Effective stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills to work with business, operations, finance, and technology teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality work within defined timelines.
• Team handling and appraisal discussion experience is must
• Comfort with using productivity tools, reporting tools, and basic data analytics for assurance and monitoring activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or related field; professional qualifications such as CA or CS is must. CIA, CISA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Experience in an assurance, internal audit, or compliance / control testing role, preferably within insurance, banking, or financial services.
