• To manage end-to-end Production Planning & Control (PPC) for AOG, from raw material planning and availability through production, inventory and final dispatch. The role will coordinate closely with Production, Sales, Purchase and Stores to ensure timely order execution, optimum inventory levels, effective capacity utilization and adherence to delivery commitments. The position will also oversee RM and FG Stores operations to ensure material availability, stock accuracy and smooth material flow.

Position Specifications

• Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Textile / Production / Industrial Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
• Duration & Nature of Past Experience: 1012 years of relevant experience in PPC, production planning, supply chain or manufacturing operations, preferably in textile / non-woven / manufacturing industry

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control and end-to-end manufacturing planning.
• Strong understanding of RM planning, inventory management and Stores operations.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Sales, Purchase, Stores and Logistics.
• Good understanding of capacity planning, machine utilization and production scheduling.
• Strong analytical ability with proficiency in MS Excel, ERP and MIS reporting.
• Understanding of WIP, FG, dispatch planning and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen / 5S / 6S will be preferred.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Outcomes Activities for achieving Outcomes

• Production Planning Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on sales orders, customer priorities, available capacity and RM availability. Ensure effective scheduling and timely order execution.
• End-to-End PPC
• Management Manage PPC activities from RM planning and availability through production completion and final dispatch. Monitor order status at each stage and proactively address bottlenecks or delays.

Raw Material & Procurement Coordination

• Prepare RM requirements based on production plans and order pipeline. Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of raw materials, spares and packing materials and follow up on critical pending items.

Production Coordination & Monitoring

• Coordinate with Production teams to review production plans, actual output, capacity utilization, downtime and deviations. Identify constraints and drive corrective actions.
• Sales & Order Coordination Coordinate with Sales on order priorities, customer requirements, production status, material availability and delivery commitments. Highlight potential delays and ensure timely resolution.

RM & FG Stores Management

• Oversee RM and FG Stores activities, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issue and movement of materials, accurate stock records, optimum inventory levels and timely availability for production and dispatch.

Capacity Planning & Machine

• Utilization Analyze plant capacity, machine utilization and production constraints. Align production plans with available capacity and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

WIP, FG & Dispatch

• Planning Monitor WIP and FG levels against production and sales requirements. Coordinate with Production, Stores, Logistics and Sales to ensure finished goods readiness and timely dispatch.

Quality & Rejection

• Monitoring Monitor production rejection trends and coordinate with Quality and Production teams for root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Track improvement actions and rejection levels.

MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare and present daily, weekly and monthly MIS covering production plan vs. actual, RM availability, inventory, machine utilization, order status, FG stock and dispatch status. Highlight key issues and action points.
• Process Improvement & 6S Identify improvement opportunities in PPC, inventory management and material flow. Support Lean, Kaizen, 5S/6S and other continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Management Review & Cross-functional

• Coordination Participate in plant and management reviews, present operational updates, track action points and ensure timely closure. Maintain effective coordination with Production, Sales, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Logistics.
