Sr. Manager - Procurement

• Manage end-to-end procurement of textile processing chemicals, dyes, auxiliaries and related materials.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and service.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and annual rate agreements with vendors.
• Ensure timely availability of chemicals as per production and business requirements.
• Monitor market trends, chemical prices and alternative sources to achieve cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Production, RD, Quality, Stores and Finance for procurement planning and issue resolution.
• Develop alternate suppliers and ensure supply continuity for critical chemicals.
• Maintain vendor performance, purchase MIS, cost savings and procurement documentation.
• Ensure procurement complies with quality, safety, statutory and company requirements.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Textile Chemistry or related field.
• 510 years of experience in procurement/purchase of chemicals, preferably within textile processing, dyes auxiliaries or manufacturing.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, market intelligence and cost optimization skills.
• Good understanding of chemical specifications, quality parameters and commercial terms.
