Job Summary:
Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced Sr. Manager – Security to oversee campus security operations, with a key focus on female student safety, girls’ hostels, residential areas and sensitive campus locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor female security personnel and daily security operations.
• Ensure effective security coverage across girls’ hostels and designated campus areas.
• Monitor access control, visitor management, entry/exit protocols and security SOPs.
• Conduct regular security inspections, risk assessments and surprise checks.
• Handle security incidents, emergencies and crisis situations with prompt escalation.
• Coordinate with Hostel Administration, Student Affairs, Wardens, Medical and other university departments.
• Maintain security reports, incident records, deployment records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, alertness and professional conduct of security personnel.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend preventive/corrective measures.

Eligibility & Experience:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• Retired Defence personnel / Defence background candidates will be preferred.
• Candidates from Armed Forces, JCOs, Police, Para-military or Government Security Services are strongly preferred.
• 7–15 years of relevant experience in security operations, defence, police, para-military, institutional/campus or corporate security.
• Experience in supervising security teams, hostels/residential facilities and sensitive environments will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, discipline, communication, situational awareness and emergency-response skills.

Pay: ₹45,200.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
